The A-side is one to nod your head to. The common denominator are driving beats that derive from dancehall and grime. In the vein of his track for the Voxxx Series A sampler they are accompanied by moody sound-scapes, haunting voices and strange melodies. Digital dancehall, dry and focused as in 'Tubby' or bedded in surreal clouds of reverb as in 'Death'.
The B-side presents some seriously fast cut-up breakbeats, pumping basses and sweet hooks. Granular beats tied together by some 2step bastard beat merge with a rave bass and the lead synth in 'It's all so simple now'.
Exclusively available here is Geroyche's remix for Mochipet, that was originally available on cd as part of Mochipet's 'Feel my China Vol. 1' (Component Records), in a slightly extended version. It definitely sounds as if Geroyche was ear witness to some mental rituals taking place at Bohemian Grove where Mochipet and his friends from Skull and Bones secretly celebrated their world domination once again.
